Don Giminaro realized his passion for creating art from metals at a very young age. In order to make a living for his family, he began working as a welder in the mid seventies. It wasn't long before he had to follow his dream of creating sculptural architectural metal pieces from his private studio. He was fortunate to reach a market in the nearby resort areas of Aspen, Vail and Telluride, Colorado. His studio is able to fill a niche of doing custom black smith and copper work for world class resorts; high-end commercial ventures and prestigious residential homes. The artistic craftsmen utilize various semi precious metals to bring richness of colors and textures to their pieces. Don has worked with several Interior Designers and Architects to make pieces that are pertinent to their projects and personal to their clients. His work is organic as well as contemporary in style. Today, Don is happily doing what he loves in the midst of the beautiful Colorado Rockies. To learn more about Giminaro Studio please refer to the following publications. |

(Architectual Digest; November 2000, page 289) Don Giminaro created these gates while working for Donna Livingston Design, Los Angeles, California. Donna was featured in Architectual Digest December 2001 as one of the top 100 Interior Designers. |
